This is the Sachs version which was OE and installed on the Vanagon from the factory.  However they also used LUK clutch kits from the factory as well and we also have them available for a higher price.  Which is better?  Sachs is fine for most applications.  LUK is heavier duty so if you have an engine conversion or an engine with more horse power I would recommend going with that.
