Expansion Tank Cap for 83-92 Vanagon

Cooling System Cap for 83 and newer water cooled Vanagon.  This is the Blau cap that is the only one I sell.  Many aftermarket caps can be bad from brand new because they aren't made correctly.  If you put your mouth on the hose port and blow into it, you should get a duck call type noise and resistance.  If there is no resistance and you can just blow into it like nothing is there, with no quack sound, then it isn't going to hold pressure and work correctly.  Will not work on 82 Diesel Vanagon tank or the cube style tank that was used on some 1983 1.9l Vanagons.  You need the metal cap for those.
