Coolant Temp Sender for Gauge and Glow Plug System for Diesel, 1.9l, and Syncro Vanagon

This is the Coolant Temp Sender for Gauge and Glow Plug System for 82-84 Diesel Vanagon, and gauge only for 83.5-85 Vanagon and 86-91 Syncro Vanagon.  On a diesel Vanagon, they require two of these.  One is for the glow plug system, the other is for the gauge on the dash.  They are located on the coolant inlet pipe that is on the head.  

For the 1.9l waterboxer it is for the gauge only and is located on the thermostat housing next to the blue temp II sensor.

For the Syncro it is located in the aluminum thermostat housing pointing torward the front of the van.  

The connector is just a normal spade eletrical connector that pushes on from the side.
