This is an aftermarket version of the distributor for a 1.9l Digijet Vanagon. It may also work on an Air Cooled Vanagon but I haven't tested it on that. It comes with a vacuum advance only. You can use it as is, or you can swap your vacuum advance/retard unit from your old distributor over to it very easily.
