Distributor Parts Set with Hall Sender for 79-83.5 AC and WC Vanagon

This is the Hall Effect Sensor or Sender for 79 Bus and 80-85 Air-cooled (California) and 1.9l Vanagon waterboxer (electronic ignition, no points). This parts set lets your replace the hall sending unit in your old distributor. Hall sender included. Faulty Hall sender can cause a no spark condition. This unit is no longer available in Bosch. This is an aftermarket unit that seems to work just as well.
